Hi! Have JUST returned (may 15 2025) from 4 days primitive area camping in the Apache Natl Forest. HEAVEN tho crawlin outta my bag at 5 a.m. Keeper of the Fire duty was a chilly 37° wake up! Surrounded by old growth Ponderosa was wonderful for me now living in the Sonoran Desert. Oh the scent! I was along the Blue River and lotsa adult Bear prints in the soft Earth there. I am certain we were seen! layed a small altar for both of my parents' ashes on a downed tree stump. It was lovely, they loved that area, I am grateful to know it becuz of them.

GOODNESS! now it is 2025 and The Whirled seems to have gone crazy...
My mom died in October, getting thru the grief as well as the endless doings of a death occupies much of my time.
I am super busy landscaping her house, now my house. I live elsewhere in a tiny townhouse while deciding what I will DO with Mom's.
It does not seem a good time politically, ouch, to make sudden changes.

I am an abstract artist, organic farmer, mother, roadtripper, animal lover. I am authentic, kind and highly eclectic. I am balanced and grounded but often exuberant/passionate. I lean enviro-liberal and I walk my talk. I am a creative, silly soul very connected to Gaia. I can easily and often do laugh at myself! I am smart and self sufficient, progressive and a admittedly "old way" in my lifestyle, not into gadgets and "stuff".

I am spirited, conscientious, hardworking, honest, passionate, stubborn. I think it is important to say that I am a morning person. I do enjoy craft beer and good wine tho quite rarely and am not interested in cultivating a long term relationship with a man who doesn't drink at all. It is simply a fun hobby best shared. I wholly support your choice to abstain.

I am NOT a crowds and "festivals" person tho I do attend Red Rocks, Colorado shows annually, I generally seek small venues, mellow, quiet gigs. I recently saw Keb Mo, Lukas Nelson, Steve Earle and will be headed to Red Rocks for Jackson Browne, FRONT ROW, soon!! (2022 great time)
MUSIC is huge in my life. 2023 takes me to see CAAMP in July, Red Rocks!

I miss a man, a committed loving and friendly relationship. That "sway" of energies, a helpful, attentive eye. A kinship, whether romantic / sexual or not, I miss hanging out with a man.

I REQUIRE nature and wilderness close by. Have lived offgrid much of the last 20 years, honor it, walk and work on the land in silence daily. I am so very fortunate. I am in search of a partner who understands and agrees with living this low impact, sustainable lifestyle. I DO love the city....BUT do not envision ever actually living in one again. Too loud, kinda chaotic, for my sensibilities tho the art and music possibilities are undeniable!

A man who LOVES the silence as well as music. I require a lot of SILENCE in nature even on the road, but I am found frequently attending small live music venues and can't imagine life without it.

Am a wildcrafter. Am the ex Administrator of SW Acupuncture College. I use pure plant essences and organic foods, teas, etc always. Organic farmer/gardening is not only a "hobby", but a way of life!! Great, creative food prep and dining out in beautiful, grounded, progressive places. A good wine list IS important to me. I prefer top shelf booze. I do drink and enjoy alcohol. I enjoy learning about wines and on a winter day, maybe a whiskey bar. I am seeing many of you guys do not drink, that's ok certainly, but, it is an appreciation best shared.

Mountain drives, beach walks. Travel to UNIQUE, NON-tourist attractions. finding our own way with a stash of fun foods, jackets and a sense of wonder!! very sexy stuff for me! Camping gear is always on board in my rig.

Animals, their kind treatment. At home or in the wild, I love them all, I honor them all. I do not kill them and I very rarely eat them. I have been known to fall off the wagon for Calamari, Oysters and Lobster.

Now back in SoAZ as a BRUTAL summer of 105+ for weeks and little rain comes to its end, I never want to spend another Summer here.
Perhaps the NE, perhaps back to coastal Oregon, perhaps back to offgrid Alaska that I lived in and loved SO MUCH.
Colorado continues to call, much of my growing up years there, my wedding in the mountains, first home, etc.
