I'm an herbalist, writer & college professor. Very down to earth. I'm most impressed by kindness. I also value good conversation, especially about subjects that matter to me, like healing, the arts, the environment, history and philosophy. I love to cook - I'm no gourmet, but it is always tasty and nourishing. I'm into local, sustainable foods. I love animals and children but at the moment have neither in my life, unless you count my students! Annie Sprinkle once coined the term "eco-sexual" and that would probably describe me best. Some people I admire are Timothy Leary, Susun Weed, Germaine Greer, Aldous Huxley, and Terence McKenna, Paul Stamets. I like to think for myself, and these days and that can get you into trouble, but I never try purposely to offend anyone. If they had a "non-binary" gender option I would have checked it. I don't really like politics, but since this is America in 2025, let's just say I'm not thrilled with the "direction" the country has been going if you want to call it that.

Fooling around with herbal medicine, being outdoors, cooking, writing - in summer, the beach whenever/wherever possible - I could spend most every warm day in the sun and swimming in the ocean. I'm very much into Pilates. I'm also a writer who has published a few books. There are so many more sides to me, but way too much to go into here. I like cats very much if that helps.
