My journey has taken a few unexpected twists and turns, which has given me a somewhat unique perspective on life. I have learned to appreciate what really matters to me-and that is my relationships with those around me. I value personal growth and awareness and strive to be the best version of myself that I can be. I am always willing to look at "my stuff" in a relationship and want a partner who will do the same. That said, I don't take myself too seriously. I love to have fun, laugh, be silly and I love new adventures. I can be having a deep, meaningful conversation one minute and laughing hysterically the next! I would describe myself as strong, loyal, caring, honest, intelligent, playful, sensitive, sensual, grounded, emotionally healthy, and a good communicator.

I am looking for an emotionally mature, open-minded, open-hearted man who wants to experience all the joy, passion, intimacy, and growth that being in a healthy, conscious relationship can provide.

You are intelligent with a great sense of humor. You probably have an appreciation for nature and being in the outdoors and live a healthy lifestyle.

We feel safe to reveal our truest and deepest selves....The book Passionate Marriage-Love, Sex, and Intimacy in Emotionally Committed Relationships by David Schnarch sums up what I'm looking for very well... in a mere 400 pages! :)

Great communication is essential for me in a relationship. I want us to create a safe space where we can tell each other the hard stuff, the stuff we are afraid to say....as that is what I feel leads to true intimacy. I also want us to be able to clear any irritations, misunderstandings, etc. quickly and directly....so they don't come out passively in other ways.

A good physical/spiritual/energetic connection is also important. I have studied Tantra a bit over the years and want to continue that exploration with my partner.

I of course want us to have fun together and laugh often and have intellectually stimulating conversations about a variety of subjects....

I also want to be able to just "be" with each other and enjoy the ease and wonderful feelings of simply spending time together.

We would support each other's dreams and goals, reminding each other of our strengths and victories, while also lovingly helping one another see our blind-spots and areas of growth.

I could probably go on for awhile longer, but you get the idea.....

I love dancing....I grew up doing ballet and jazz, and as an adult I love exploring ballroom dance. Up for learning Tango together?

Other hobbies include Improv and African drumming.

I love the arts and going to see musicals, dance performances, plays, poetry slams, etc.
