Describe yourself (personality/attitude/passions/beliefs):

Personality:
I am a serene soul with a zest for life. I approach life with a calm demeanor, and I find solace in the simple pleasures it offers. I'm known for my warm smile, an empathetic heart.
Attitude:
My approach to life is rooted in gratitude and a deep appreciation for the present moment. I believe that happiness resides not in the pursuit of external desires but in the cultivation of inner contentment. I embrace life's challenges as opportunities for growth and see setbacks as stepping stones on the path to enlightenment. I am always open to learning and evolving.
Passions:
Meditation, yoga, and mindfulness are a way of life for me with art and technology as a creative outlet. I relish the serenity that meditation brings, the harmony that yoga imparts, and the awareness that mindfulness fosters. I also have a deep connection with nature, finding inspiration in its beauty and balance.
Beliefs:
Central to my beliefs is the idea of interconnectedness. I see the world as a web of relationships, where every action has a ripple effect. Compassion and kindness towards all beings, human and non-human, are values I hold dear.

Describe the type of person you'd like to meet:

I'm looking for someone who shares my enthusiasm for spiritual growth and self-awareness. Someone who understands that life is a journey of learning and transformation. A compassionate and open-hearted individual who values kindness, authenticity, and empathy. I believe in the power of love, and I'm searching for a partner with whom I can explore the depths of our souls, support each other's growth, and create a beautiful life filled with love, purpose, and adventure.

To be perfectly honest: at this age you start to get realistic. You have been in love and obviously that has ended at some point otherwise you wouldn't be here, I hope!
You have experienced enough life to know what you like and don't like and won't settle for the later.

You have been hurt and so have others, you can see it in their eyes and that's part of what makes them attractive in a strange way, they have character that can't be gained in any other way.
Despite all of life's ups and downs you choose to keep on smiling and have a positive outlook for your future.

At a deeper level you have to be honest with yourself and come to terms with “Do you have another one in ya?”

Opening up your heart again is a challenging thing to negotiate with yourself, let alone a new partner.
You tread lightly remembering all the red flags you ignored in the past and constantly checking your footing to make sure you don't slide head first as you have in the past.

Then you have to stand back and wonder is it better to live a peaceful life just existing or is it meant to be spent in a deep relationship with someone and bask in the magical time called falling in love?

It's a matter of opening up your heart and exposing all your vulnerabilities and trusting another to do the same without crushing your world.

Describe the ideal relationship:

Ideal Relationship for me is one where we can lean on each other, laugh together, and be each other's biggest supporters. It's about late-night conversations, stolen glances that speak volumes, and the feeling that we can conquer anything when we're together.

Trust is the cornerstone of any meaningful relationship, and it's something I hold dear. I believe in the power of open communication, honesty, and reliability. When trust is the foundation, everything else falls into place naturally, and that's what I'm looking for in a partner – someone who values trust as much as I do.

Sharing is another vital aspect of a fulfilling relationship. Whether it's sharing our dreams, fears, laughter, or even a simple meal together, I believe that sharing life's moments, big and small, strengthens the bonds we create. I'm eager to find someone who is willing to share their world with me, as I'm excited to do the same in return. Let's create a space where we can be ourselves, vulnerabilities and all, without fear of judgment.

Deep Connection is what I yearn for. I believe that a profound connection between two people is the essence of a lasting and loving relationship. It's about understanding each other on a level that goes beyond words, where we can intuitively sense each other's thoughts and feelings. Building this connection requires time, patience, and a willingness to explore the depths of our souls together.

Share something unusual or extra special about yourself:

I grew up next to a Buddhist Monastery in Northern California (back when Buddhism was not hip) which started me on a spiritual path which led me to study with a number of teachers from different Eastern philosophies (Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism...) over the years.
I'm at a place know where I can stand back and see the similarities and that they all have their differences but they all point in the same direction.
I don't feel I need a teacher anymore as life is my teacher at this point.

I have lived in a number of places (New York City, Vienna Austria, San Diego, Silicon Valley, Upstate New York, Connecticut) and they all have their pros and cons. I'm open to living somewhere besides Boulder Colorado as long the weather is not too extreme and we have access to a decent airport.
